The Hill Country Fire Coalition of Texas is an all-volunteer nonprofit established to implement Kendall County’s Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). What makes us unique is how we began: a group of committed volunteers who recognized the county’s growing wildfire risk and collaborated with local fire departments, governmental and non-governmental agencies, and nonprofit partners to develop the CWPP—at no cost to the County.
